Use of The Kinsey Institute collections is limited by law to qualified students, faculty, and other professionals with demonstrable research needs. Photocopies may be made only for academic or professional research purposes. The copyright law of the United States and the copyright guidelines of Indiana University libraries are followed. Patrons are expected to abide by all posted copyright regulations. The Kinsey Institute does not copy entire copyrighted books, journals, or manuscripts, except in the case of "fair use." Permission to copy an entire copyrighted work must be secured in writing by the requester or proof obtained that copyright has expired. The Kinsey Institute reserves the right to refuse to photocopy:

In-house photocopying charges are $.15 per copy by patron, $.30 per copy if done by a staff member for a patron, and $1.00 per copy when special handling or copying by a librarian is necessary. Patrons with extensive photocopying may be required to use mail order at $.30 per copy ($1.00 per page if special handling is required). A minimum handling fee of $10.00 plus estimated shipping costs will be charged for mail orders. All mail order requests should be prepaid. « Back to the Library | |||||
