Juried Erotic Art Show
Over 250 patrons and artists attended the opening of the First Annual Juried Erotic Art show. The exhibition features 38 items that were selected from over 200 entries. The exhibit runs until June 30, 2006. To visit the gallery,contact Jennifer Solomon, jensolom@indiana.edu.

Kinsey Institute Hosts Conference on the Future of Sex Research

Convening April 9-11 on the campus of Indiana University Bloomington, "The Future of Sexuality Research: Methodological to Social Policy Innovations" will give participants an opportunity to hear from a variety of sex researchers in a multi-disciplinary examination of the present state and future direction of sex research worldwide. This is the inaugural conference of the University Consortium for Sexuality Research and Training (UCSRT).

New UCSRT website, Dialogues, offers discussion forums, mentorship, job listings, researcher profiles and other networking resources to scholars in the field of sexuality research.

On-Line Survey Examines Hysterectomy and Sexual Functioning

Dr. ZoŽ Peterson, clinical research post-doctoral fellow at The Kinsey Institute is the primary investigator of the study which measures women's sexual functioning and satisfaction following hysterectomy.

The mission of The Kinsey Institute is to promote interdisciplinary research and scholarship in the fields of human sexuality, gender, and reproduction. The Institute was founded in 1947 by renowned sex researcher Alfred Kinsey. Today, the Institute has two components, an Indiana University research institute and a not-for-profit corporation, which owns and manages the Institute's research data and archives, collections, and databases.
