Exhibition Photograph

Taking a cue from silent picture publicity stills, the model's smoldering gaze in this photograph creates an alluring image. The partial obscuring of her face by the fan also capitalizes on the tension between concealing and revealing parts of the body to enhance the sense of intrigue conveyed by the photograph. This image was used on the flyer announcing The Kinsey Institute's exhibition, The Art of Desire.
