IU Associate Professor of Journalism Claude Cookman will give a lecture entitled, "Expressive Bodies: Photographic Artists Exploring Human Sexuality," on Friday, January 12, 2007, beginning at 5:30 pm in Fine Arts building 102. Cookman researches visual communications, photojournalism editing, the history of photography, graphic communications, computer design, informational graphics, and mass communications pedagogy. An opening reception will follow the lecture, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, in the SoFA Gallery. All events are free and open to the public.
Expressive Bodieswill travel to the Herron School of Art Gallery in Indianapolis in the fall of 2007.
