The Kinsey Institute Juried Art Show

The first Kinsey Institute Juried Art Show was held in 2006 at the Kinsey Institute Gallery. After three years, the exhibition had outgrown the space available in Morrison Hall, prompting the move to the Indiana University School of Fine Arts Gallery in 2009. This venue, now known as the Grunwald Gallery of Art, continued to host the Juried Art Show through 2015.

In the decade that we have held our juried art show, we have seen it grow from a small, mostly regional exhibition to a major cultural event, attracting artists from across the country and beyond.  It is now time for us to pursue other opportunities for our art program, including traveling exhibitions that will bring the wide range of art and artifacts in the Kinsey Institute collection to new audiences.  We therefore will not be holding a juried art show in 2016.  We wish to thank all the artists who have participated in our exhibitions over the past ten years, as well as our generous donors and the staff of the Grunwald Gallery for their support and assistance.
