Billions of condoms and other forms of protection are sold globally every year, and the Kinsey Institute makes transformative contributions to product innovation, safer sex awareness, and user experience. Many factors like access, fit, comfort, and social acceptability shape the use of condoms and other protection methods—all areas our research works to understand in partnership with industry leaders, innovative startups, public health programs, and others. By identifying key improvements that make protection easier to access and use, more comfortable, and more pleasurable, our work empowers individuals around the world to protect themselves and others.
