HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health challenge in the United States and globally. Since the 1980s, the Kinsey Institute has brought researchers together to share information and strengthen prevention and care with evidence-based research insights. We study HIV/AIDS from many angles, from its biology to the behavioral risk factors and stigma that contribute to its spread to the most effective modern treatment strategies. Through better understanding the science of HIV/AIDS alongside its cultural and societal implications, we aim to create informed, effective approaches that improve lives and end this disease.
